Donation Policy
Consolidated Telephone Company believes strongly in the support of established and recognized organizations or institutions engaged in providing and improving education, welfare and civic enterprises in communities and/or areas that are served by the Company.
Donation requests shall be made in writing and submitted to the Donation Committee by the first of each month.
This committee, consisting of appointed employees of the company, is responsible for the review, consideration, and approval or rejection of donation requests included in projected budgetary listings or in other interim and exceptional contributing requests as submitted.
This committee shall meet at the beginning of each month for review, approval or rejection of requested donations.
Donation Requests are generally not given for:
- Programs and/or projects outside our company’s service area
- Political Organizations
- Labor, Fraternal, Social Organizations
- Individuals
Each January, the Committee meets to review the previous year’s approved donation requests and then sets the donation budget for the upcoming year.
