Scholarships
Each year CTC awards $500 scholarships to students in our service areas that are beginning their college careers. See the details below to apply for this year's scholarships.
CTC Scholarship Application
CTC's Scholarship Application needs to be returned to their school guidance counselor by March 29th, 2013. This CTC Scholarship could go to the following students:
- Brainerd High School
- Crosby-Ironton High School
- Little Falls High School
- Northland High School (Remer)
- Onamia High School
- Pierz Healy High School
- Pillager Healy High School
- Staples-Motley High School
CTC At-Large Scholarship Application
CTC's "At-Large" Scholarship Application needs to be returned to CTC for final selection by March 29th, 2013. CTC's address is given on the application. This CTC "At-Large" Scholarship could go to the following students:
- Browerville High School
- Lake Region Christian School
- Pequot Lakes High School
- Home Schooled
Students must meet the following criteria to be eligible for the CTC scholarship:
- The student's family or legal guardian must be a year-round CTC member in good standing.
- The student needs to be a graduating high school senior planning on attending a two-year or four-year college, university, or vocational school.
Additional Scholarship Opportunity with the MTA
The Minnesota Telecom Alliance Foundation Scholarship application needs to be returned to CTC by March 1, 2013. CTC will send this application directly to the MTA. Students must meet the following criteria to be eligible for the MTA Scholarship:
- The student's family or legal guardian must be a year-round CTC member in good standing.
- The student needs to be a graduating high school senior planning on attending a two-year or four-year college, university, or vocational school.
- The student must be a Minnesota resident.
Additional Scholarship Opportunity with the FRS
The Foundation for Rural Service Scholarship application needs to be sent directly to the Foundation for Rural Service by March 1, 2013. This application needs to have CTC's CEO/GM signature on it (see the link below). Students must meet the following criteria to be eligible for this scholarship:
- The student's family or legal guardian must be a year-round CTC member in good standing.
- The student needs to be a graduating high school senior planning on attending a two-year or four-year college, university, or vocational school.
- The student must have at least a C grade point average.
- The student must be a United States Citizen.
- The student must express an interest to work in a rural community following graduation.
