In the Community
As a Cooperative, our Board of Directors and employees all take responsibility to be a part of our community. CTC makes many donations to area charities. Employees also volunteer in the communities we serve, whether it’s Rotary, Sertoma, Chamber Events, United Way, or Coaching Little League. CTC employees work, live and give back to our community!
CTC employees took on the challenge of being the 2007 pacesetter for the United Way. As the Pacesetter, CTC employees donated over $10,000 of their own contributions while holding many community events to raise awareness and donations for our local United Way. Each Year CTC employees contribute to help those in need.
“CTC's employee support of our community is contagious and beneficial to all who live in Crow Wing and Sourther Cass Counties. Not only do they give substantial economic support, but also in volunteering and advocating for the lasting changes United Way is creating in our area. With compainies like CTC, this is a better place to live and work.”
-Monica Nieman, Executive Director United Way
CTC partnered with the Crisis Line, a non-profit organization which offers 24-hour support in 6 counties to better serve our communities. CTC opened its doors to the Crisis Line in 2006 by donating office space for their continued operation and support.
